Understanding how color can be used to create or change an artwork is essential to creating art. Color can be used to portray different symbols or emotions. Within the art, color can cause a piece of art to become truly hideous, or a masterpiece. Without it, it would be extremely difficult for the artist to reveal the purpose of the art, whether it be a painting, drawing, advertisement, etc. It gives the artist the ability to connect with the audience's emotions, and gets them to understand how or why they feel a certain way. Understanding colors, allows us to understand one another.

Creativity and leadership. Two things that are commonly thought of as very separate, however, I view these two things as being reliant on each other. Creativity has inspired past and current leaders all around the world, for both good and bad. Without the creativity, there would be no hope for a different world, leaders wouldn't be able to imagine a better tomorrow. A good leader finds new and improved ways of thinking and doing things, and helps others to get there as well. True leaders build the bridge for others, so that people are able to change their ideas and perspective on things. Leadership is fueled and empowered by the creative minds, not the people who sit back and follow what has always been done.
What is ugly? Many people may list off specific things that they think are visually unappealing, but when I think of things that are ugly, it's a little different. My vision of, "ugly" are negative thoughts, such as hatred, jealousy, self-loathing, doubt, frustration, and other negative feelings.. I don't like it when I feel these types of emotions because they make me feel like an ugly person inside, and it brings out the worst in most people. When people have these negative thoughts and a fixed mindset, it makes them as a person, uglier on the inside. I usually don't really think visual or physical things are ugly, because I know that what can be ugly to me, can be beauty to somebody else.
